Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a mysterious disorder where a person feels intensive pain in muscles and bones. It is another condition in the line of the no-cure club. In this disorder, your brain is brain-washed to release a higher concentration of pain signals. Intense pain followed by fatigue, mood swings, memory, and sleep issues. People generally fail to identify Fibromyalgia as it shares many similarities with arthritis, but it affects the soft tissues instead of joints.

Its cause is still unknown, but in many cases, trauma, surgery, infection, etc are seen to initiate its symptoms. Sometimes its symptoms even accumulate over a certain period.

There is no exact method with which Fibromyalgia can be identified, but certain factors make you at its high risks such as family history, infection, poor mental health, rare or no exercising habits.

Fibromyalgia can be handled with the help of appropriate treatment and medication. More women are seen to suffer from it than men. If you have Fibromyalgia, you are also at risk of having tension headaches, irritable bowel syndrome, depression, or even TMJ (temporomandibular joint). The most affected spots by this disorder in the human body are the backside of the head, outer elbows, and inner knees.
